| The goal of the present work is to synthesize the process of collective construction developed to protect the high-altitude wetlands of the Blanco River basin, located in the Andes Mountains, Province of Mendoza. The participatory process arose out of an initiative of basin residents and users, and was conducted by the Integrative Committee for Creation of Potrerillos Municipal Environmental Protected Area (MEPA), composed of civil society organizations, government agencies and scientific institutions. | One hundred and thirty eight epiphytic lichen species in 40 genera, are recorded from Conguillio National Park (38°30'-38°50' S; 71°30'-71°55' W), with predominancy of typically southern South American species. Lichen diversity is high, about 9 % of the lichen mycobiota from Chile, due mainly to species of the genera Bunodophoron, Menegazzia, Nephroma,, Pannaria, Protousnea and Pseudocyphellaria. Levels of endemism are rather high (nearly 40 %); also austral and cosmopolitan species, about 19 % and 16 % respectively, are the most representative biogeographical elements in the Park. |

| La micobiota liquenizada de Isla Mocha, sur de Chile, está representada por 76 especies en 30 géneros; el 38 % de las especies son endémicas del sur de Sudamérica. Xanthoria parietina, registrada en todas las zonas de muestreo, y Pseudocyphellaria malmeana recolectada sólo en el bosque de Aextoxicon punctatum, son las especies más representativas. Ramalina fastigiata constituye un nuevo registro para Chile. |

| La micobiota liquénica de la Región de Aisén incluye 319 especies en 87 géneros; el número total de especies de los géneros Menegazzia y Protousnea registrados en Chile se encuentran en esta región. La diversidad de biomas, desde bosques templado-lluviosos, particularmente en zonas oceánicas, a áreas estepáricas, ofrece una variedad de macro y microhabitats favorables para los líquenes. La mayor diversidad liquénica (56 %) se registró en un área silvestre no intervenida en el Parque Nacional Laguna San Rafael. La diversidad específica es más elevada en bosques templado-lluviosos que en zonas estepáricas, en estas últimas se registró la mayoría de los líquenes antárticos (23.0 %).
